Today England took a tentative step towards unlocking with non essential shops, gyms, pools, outdoor hospitality and, perhaps most importantly, hairdressers reopening for the first time since November. Here at The Wedding Arrangers we’ve got our eyes firmly on the prize - Step 4, planned for June 21st, and full unlocking to allow weddings to get back to normal.

In a press conference today Boris Johnson has announced that wedding receptions of 30 guests can no longer take place from tomorrow as planned. He has set August 15th as a new start date. All restrictions and guidance announced will stay in place.
This will come as a devastating blow to couples who had already made huge compromises to host their celebrations this and next weekend.
As with so much around the Corona virus crisis this is a matter of two steps forward, one step back. But hold tight, stay positive - we’ll get there eventually. And when we do, boy will we celebrate big!
